Bénédictine is giving away FREE samples at Food & Drink Festival
Saturday 2nd June 2018 at 10 am Bénédictine Liqueur will be dishing out samples at the Accrington Food & Drink Festival*.
Bénédictine is a popular tipple in Lancashire due to its strong ties to the region through the East Lancashire Regiment, better known as the Accrington Pals. The regiment were stationed at the birthplace of Bénédictine in Fécamp, Normandy, during the First World War and drank it with hot water to keep them warm in the trenches. The battalion developed a taste for the drink and brought it home once the war ended.
Philippe Jouhaud, Marketing Director for Bénédictine liqueur, says: “We are hugely proud of our relationship with the Accrington Pals and could think of no better place to showcase all the drink has to offer than the upcoming Accrington Food and Drink Festival. The people of Lancashire have always supported Bénédictine and we, in turn, are excited to support local events.”
The Accrington Food Festival will return, with Bénédictine Liqueur in tow, on Saturday 2nd June.
